Dear St. Charles Family and All Friends in Christ,
On Monday, February 13, I will return from an 8-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land in which I have been able to pray and to walk in the same places where Our Lord prayed, walked, and offered his life for our salvation. I have brought all of you with me in my heart and have offered Mass for your intentions at all of the locations where we have celebrated Mass: Mount Carmel, the Sanctuary of the Annunciation (Nazareth), the Mount of the Beatitudes, the Basilica of the Transfiguration, Bethlehem, the Basilica of the Agony in the Garden, and the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Please see fr-forlano.blogspot.com where I have posted photos and have shared some moments of grace in which the Lord has given me a deeper understanding of the scriptures or has revealed a deeper appreciation for the gift of our faith through this experience in the Holy Land. (There are also just some fun or interesting photos too). I am grateful for your prayers for me and look forward to sharing the blessings of my pilgrimage with you soon!

El lunes 13 de febrero regresaré de una peregrinación de 8 días a Tierra Santa en la que he podido orar y caminar en los mismos lugares donde Nuestro Señor oró, caminó y ofreció su vida por nuestra salvación. Os he traído a todos conmigo en mi corazón y he ofrecido Misa por vuestras intenciones en todos los lugares donde hemos celebrado Misa: el Monte Carmelo, el Santuario de la Anunciación (Nazaret), el Monte de las Bienaventuranzas, la Basílica de la Transfiguración, Belén, la Basílica de la Agonía en el Huerto y la Basílica del Santo Sepulcro en Jerusalén.
