Goals and Grading

Every artist was first an amateur. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

In addition to and based on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Art Curriculum, I've listed my goals for teaching and for my students.  In every project, my students are working according to the following four criteria:

1. Being personally creative.

2. Practicing methods according to safety instructions.

3. Demonstrating craftsmanship in one's artwork and the use of materials and tools.

4. Demonstrating growth in art processes and techniques.
